PlugMall is a community marketplace where every vendor gets their own online store, and where you can buy and sell with trusted, verified people near you, whether on campus or in your town. We are building it across Ghana, one community at a time, starting close to home in Tarkwa.
Why we started
Buying and selling online in Ghana has long meant an uncomfortable choice: impersonal, costly platforms where you pay before you see the item, or anonymous classifieds where you are dealing with a stranger with no real identity and no safe way to meet. Too many people have been let down, or scammed, in that gap.
We did not think the answer was another faceless platform. We thought the answer was trust. So we built a marketplace that feels like your own community, where sellers are real and verified, reputations are earned and visible, and, where available, you can inspect an item at a trusted pickup point before any money changes hands.
